How do I get to your office?
The CVB is located at 211 N. Water street , at the corner of Water St. and Las Cruces Ave. in downtown Las Cruces.
If you are heading south on I-25 (from Albuquerque ), take the Main St./Highway 70 exit and head west. Stay on Main St ./Highway 70 for about 3 miles. When you reach the driving circle on the north end of downtown, stay to your right, you will merge onto Water St . We are two block down on the right.
If you are north into Las Cruces on I-25 (from El Paso), exit at the Lohman exit and head west on Lohman Ave. Take Lohman west for about 3 miles until you reach Main St . Take a right on Main St. and follow it around downtown until you reach Las Cruces Ave. Turn left on Las Cruces and head west for 2 blocks. You will see our office on the left-hand corner of Las Cruces Ave. and Water St.
If you are heading east into Las Cruces from the I-10 (from Deming), take the Picacho Ave. exit and continue heading east for about 4 miles until you reach Main St. Make a right onto Main St . When you reach the driving circle on the north end of downtown, stay to your right, you will merge onto Water St . We are two block down on the right.
If you are heading west into Las Cruces from the east (from Alamogordo ), Stay on Highway 70/Main St. until you reach the driving circle on the north end of downtown. Stay to your right and you will merge onto Water St . We are two block down on the right.
What are the hours of the CVB?
The CVB is open Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm

Is there RV parking at the CVB?
The parking lot at the CVB is rather small, but there is ample parking for RVs and other vehicles on the streets near the CVB office.
What does a CVB Do?
The mission of the CVB is to use the Lodgers Tax to help attract meetings, leisure and business travelers to Las Cruces in the most economic and efficient manner in order to stimulate the local economy. We also work closely with the staff of the Las Cruces Convention Center to assist with bringing larger out of area conventions and meetings.
How is the CVB funded?
The CVB is funded through the collection of Lodgers Tax which is collected from visitors staying in Las Cruces hotels, motels and RV parks. We receive no General Fund tax dollars meaning, local tax dollars do not fund our operations.
How is the convention center funded?
The convention center is funded through the collection of a $2.50 per night surcharge which is collected from visitors staying in Las Cruces hotels, motels and RV parks. We receive no General Fund tax dollars meaning, local tax dollars do not fund the convention center.
If you are not open weekends, where can I get a visitors guide or other information?
Visitors guides are available by the front door of our office and at every hotel in Las Cruces.
I need help finding a place for a wedding, can you help?
While we do not get involved with the planning of weddings, we can provide you with a list venue and catering options in the area.
How do I reserve space at the convention center?

Does Las Cruces have a pet park?
Yes, it is located near the corner of Hadley Ave and Walnut St.
What’s the difference between the Convention Center and the Convention & Visitors Bureau?
It varies from community to community but in Las Cruces , the Chamber of Commerce is a resource for those local businesses, residents and anyone looking to move to the area. The Convention & Visitors Bureau is responsible for generating overnight visitors to Las Cruces , either as business or leisure travelers.
My child’s team is going to a tournament out of state; do you have anything then can take to pass out to other teams that show they are from Las Cruces?
Items are available for purchase at cost. Check with the Sports Sales Department for details.
I’m responsible for planning my child’s teams’ trip to their tournament in Las Cruces , where can I get information to hand out?

Where can I park my RV while I shop around downtown?
There is ample parking for RVs and other vehicles on the streets around downtown.
My child’s team is playing in a tournament in Las Cruces , what is there for our family to do while we’re there?
