Hosting Program

The Las Cruces Convention & Visitors Bureau Media Department offers a Journalist Hosting Program for qualified travel media in pursuit of feature stories and editorial coverage of the Las Cruces area. The hosting program is available to staff travel writers and editors, freelance travel writers on assignment and members of travel-related TV and radio programs, nationally and internationally.

Depending on the nature of the assignment, the department can assist with accommodations, suggest itineraries, arrange for passes to attractions and more. Please note that all arrangements are provided by the Las Cruces tourism community, and are subject to the availability and interest of each facility. Blackout periods may be experienced during the year, necessitating a press rate, especially for hotel accommodations.

Please give 2-3 weeks advance notice for media hosting and itinerary assistance.
